Language Immersion Practice

These group language learning sessions are interactive and a great opportunity to practice our speaking skills together. We learn words and phrases for the first part of each day and focus on practice, review and repetition for the second half of the day. I use as much Anishinaabemowin as possible but need to use english at times so that the group participants understand the plan for the day, and throughout the day. There are key phrases and words that we use and practice repetitively throughout the day to increase your memorization, comprehension, and ability to recall words and phrases. The activity or activities we partake in are flexible and I include Anishinaabemowin for us to practice. These language immersion practice sessions are beneficial in a natural environment where we listen, speak, and practice conversational skills together.
